As you know, buttons are absolutely key to creating any worthwhile interactive flash presentation. Buttons allow users to navigate your flash animations, submit input, and feed information to your backend databases.

But what if you don’t know how to make buttons?

Well, the following tutorial is made for you. Even though it is for Flash MX 2004, many of the same basic steps are the same as today’s latest edition of Flash. The following link points to a great Flash tutorial that describes how to create a game like “Line Rider”.

The tutorial is complete and interactive, and allows users to draw lines live on the screen.

How is this done? Get ready to code, since you’re going to have to know Action Script 3 to make this interactive movie work. The code isn’t too long, but one should be familiar with AS to have an understanding of what is going on.
